“The Way Home” is the debut solo album from Highland fiddler Donald Grant. This is an excellent CD with lots of self-penned material and it really swings! It also features some of Donald’s long term collaborators, a totally beautiful Gaelic song co-written with his Dad and sung by Karen Matheson (Capercaillie), and the string section “Red Skies". The album was produced by Seamas Eagan and the starry cast of musicians make a great backing band:
