Daimh - Diversions: A real Foot Stompin' favourite! Daimh are a pipe and fiddle-led Highlands - based band with a high-energy, fast-flowing mixture of music from the Gaelic cultural tradition. The members are from Eire, Scotland, Cape Breton and California and their repertoire features music and song from their native traditions with tunes picked up along the way. The band have previously been nominated for Scottish Folk Band Of The Year at the Scots Trad Music Awards, and Calum Alex has been a Mod Gold Medallist and nominee for STMA Gaelic Singer Of The Year.
Daimh are: Angus MacKenzie (Highland pipes, Border pipes), Colm O' Rua (banjo, mandola), Gabe McVarish (fiddle), Ross Martin (guitar), James Bremner (bodhran) and Calum Alex MacMillan (vocals).
