| Folk music isn't really my thing but this CD from the Emily Smith band is excellent. Emily Smith won the BBC Radio Scotland Traditional Musician of the year award 2002 and you can see why. The tracks on this album are upbeat and melodic, the instruments are well played and the sounds compliment each other well. Emily's singing voice has to rank as one of the clearest, easiest voices around.
If you like music, you'll like this. Even if Folk isn't your usual cup of tea. |
