All-girl group The Shee have undergone a name change since they started out in 2006 asThe Sirens. Their repertoire is wide - traditional tunes and airs, Gaelic songs, self penned compositions and American bluegrass. The Shee are Fiddles (Shona Mooney and Olivia Ross), mandolin (Laura-Beth Salter), accordion and foot percussion (Amy Thatcher), clarsach (Rachel Newton), and flute (Lillias Kinsman-Blake) are augmented by particularly fine vocals. |
