Breabach - The Desperate Battle Of The Birds:Bigger stages, longer journeys, award nominations and two extra members (double bass and sound technician) - the past 18 months have been a musical rollercoaster for Breabach! This second album takes influence from the many experiences and opportunities the band have had touring the UK and Europe over the last 2 years. The title track is taken from an ancient piobaireachd (our oldest surviving form of pipe music). The piece is fused with more contemporary compositions and represents Breabach's continuing passion for Scottish traditional music on a modern stage.
