Elements - Paul McKenna Band: Elements is the third album from the award winning Paul McKenna Band. Their arrangements are fresh and innovative but do not stray too far from their traditional roots. Their sound is exciting and is created by the solid lead vocals and guitar of Paul McKenna, the driving bouzouki and mandolin of David McNee, the rhythmic fiddle and banjo of Mike Vass and the melodic flute and whistles of Sean Gray, plus the explosive beat of Ewan Baird's bodhran. At the MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards in 2012, Paul McKenna won Scots Singer Of The Year, Mike Vass won Composer Of The Year and the band were nominated for Folk Band Of The Year.
