Ross, a native to Clydebank and later on Campbeltown has been a professional musician since leaving School. He is a talented musician on fiddle, mandolin, banjo and especially acoustic guitar. His outstanding abilities shine in fingerstyle and flat picking guitar. He's played with the Tannahill Weavers and was a founder of The Iron Horse and currently plays with Canterach, a popular pipes based band. He has recorded on countless CDs including several with fiddlerArchie McAllister but it was not until 2007 that he released his first solo album.
