Chewin' the Fat was a much-loved comedy series  shown on BBC Scotland. The humour, characters and sketches seemed to strike a chord with Scots everywhere . Very definitely Scottish humour which saw the catch phrases from the series eg "gonnae no dae that" pass into everyday usage. The double disc set  has all your favourites.  Classic antics featuring Ronald Villiers, Scotland's best-loved but worst actor, steamy recollections from Betty (the OAP with the XXX love life), and Jack and Victor still game for a sing-song. The series was mostly filmed in and around Glasgow and occasionally West Dunbartonshire.
