The Scots Guards were officially formed in 1642 but the modern line of Scots guards pipers did not come into being until 1853 with the appointment of the first Pipe Major. Today the regiment has a 16 strong corps of Pipes and Drums. As with all Scots Guardsmen, they are striking in turnout and uphold the highest standards. An hour long programme of excellent piping and drumming.
