    Graeme Mackay & Meoran Ciuil

    Graeme, from Caithness,  has been playing the his family's band the  "Jim Mackay Dance Band" since 2000. He has also played in Meoran Ciuil with his brothers Alan and Stephen from 1995. As well as playing in the band, he follows a solo career, being resident accordion player in various venues. Graeme has also been the senior Scottish champion at Musselburgh 2002 and won many button box trophies. More recently winning the button box trophy for the 8th time and getting 2nd place at the 2007 open accordion championship at Musselburgh, as well as the Hugh McInnes trophy at Oban for the 9th time.
